We saw our first snowstorm here in the front range and it sent us into a whirlwind of activity. We’ve been stocking up on ski and ice climbing gear while trying to squeeze in every last mountain bike ride and climb before winter hits. Luckily, our October promos are the best of both seasons – we’ve got deals on Diamondback Bikes for the last days of fall, a NEMO Shower that you can take traveling and camping all over the world, and some of this season’s most exciting ski boots from Scarpa and Sportiva at a very special pro price. Plus the awarding-winning (Best Winter Jackets of 2014 from Outside Magazine) Rab Strata Hoodie and Vest are on promo – test them out and see what you think!

NEMO Helio Pressure Shower

We took the Helio shower to the sand dunes and it proved to be a star piece of gear that trip. It’s ideal for washing sandy feet or a muddy bike after a long day outside, but is also great for storing water and washing dishes. It folds down to the size of a Frisbee, holds 2.9 gallons of water, and provides able pressure via it’s foot pump. It’s easy to use, and heats up in the sun so that a hot shower on the road is not out of the question.

National Geographic named it a ‘Gem of the Year’

The result is the lightest, best-fitting, and most precise big wall harness ever conceived.” It has an extra wide waist belt and leg loops with modified ‘edge load’ construction to provide support and comfort. The laminate construction combined with the laser cut webbing helps with weight distribution to support you while you’re hanging for a long period of time.  The weight for a medium harness is 595 g, 21.0 oz.
