2016 Yosemite Climbing Guide Book: An Interview with Erik Sloan

This June, a new climbing guide book for Yosemite Valley is coming out and it’s filled with color photos, new topos, and even never-before published climbs. As a part of the AFU Studios creative team, I set up a video interview with Erik Sloan, one of the authors, to discuss a few things about the Yosemite climbing community, what to expect with the new book, and how to get a hold of your own copy. Pre-sales are going on now at a discounted price!

By Outdoor Prolink Editorial Intern Sara Aranda. Sara likes to climb, trail run, travel, adventure, test gear and write all about it. She currently lives in Yosemite.

Sorry to be that girl… but it’s spelled “get ahold of” not “get a hold of”. Internships are learning experiences, so don’t sweat it!! http://www.merriam-webster.com/dictionary/ahold

The link you posted shows that the origin of ‘ahold’ is ‘a hold’, so that ‘ahold’ is merely a contraction of ‘a hold.’
