ProView – Club Ride Eden w/ DamselCham Liner Short

As with my other Club Ride apparel, the Eden w/ DamselCham Liner shorts do not fall short of awesome. I love the stretch and fit of the outer short and the Maui Blue color is eye-catching.

Fit

The 7” inseam is perfect for my 5’4” frame and they stay in place during my ride. Plus, they are water-resistant which is a bonus when you are stuck in an afternoon rain shower. They have side-zip mesh vents for hot days and the liners snap into them so you can swap out liners for longer rides.

Performance

The DamselCham Liner is part of Club Ride‘s Innerwear line and offers recommended ride time for each liner. DamselCham Liners are suggested for wear up to 2 hours. I would usually ride for about 1.5 to 2 hours on a mountain bike and they fit the bill just right. They didn’t shift during my ride and they have a women’s specific 3D molded triple-density-foam pad that is constructed with Coolmax soft fabric. I found that it dries quickly and performs under pressure. They have a boy short style liner which is nice when you don’t need compression to your mid-thigh. I really liked the versatility of these shorts, and the option to switch out the liners based on ride time.

I tested these on cross-country trail rides in Boulder, Colorado. They performed well on my mountain bike and didn’t present any comfort issues on rocky terrain. The Cham liner is not as bulky as others and stays put during the ride. Due to their low profile, these shorts would work well on a bike commute or around town too. Overall, a solid pair of shorts from  Club Ride with a great liner.
